Travel Information
Invitation Letter
SVM'09 event organizers will email an official invitation letter to each workshop attendee upon request. To request an invitation letter please include your full name (as shown on your passport), organization name (college/university or company) you mailing address and a fax number.
As soon as you receive the invitation letter, please apply for visa at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate/Visa Office in your country. This should be done as soon as possible.
Visa Information
For those in the USA, Information on obtaining a Chinese visa can be found on the US/Chinese Embassy visa page. To attend SVM'09, a Business (F) Visa is required. Attendees from other countries should verify their individual visa requirements to attend SVM'09 in China.

Map and Directions
A detailed route map (1MB, .jpg image) is available showing the location of SVM'09 at HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) in relation to the airport and train station(s). An event guide (3.5MB, .pdf file) with detailed travel instructions is also available.
Present the Conference Travel Card to assist you in finding your way to SVM'09. You can show it to your cab driver or people on the university campus who can point you in the right direction.
