IEEE 2-column conference template
Camera Ready Papers are due this Saturday, September 4th, on the Easy Chair Web site and the IEEE Web site.
Author Instructions for SVM 2010
To present your paper and to consider its inclusion in the Proceedings of the SVM 2010, you are required to
- Address the reviewers' comments, and create your final manuscript.
-
Page length is limited to 10 pages in the IEEE double-column format using IEEE Conference Proceeding templates. For IEEEtran class in LaTeX, use the following as the first line in your LaTeX source file:
- \documentclass[10pt, conference]{IEEEtran}
- (Note: with IEEE conferences, the author affiliation is listed under the author's name, unlike IEEE transactions)
-
Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website.
- Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID: cnsm2010x; use 'new user' if you haven't used this site before.).
- Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (e.g., for LaTeX users, create a zip file that includes dvi and your eps figure files all together, and then upload the zip file for the system to convert into a compliant PDF file; for MSWord users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file)
- All authors must also complete and submit the IEEE copyright form. Download the IEEE Copyright Form; complete IEEE Publication Title as ‘2010 4th International DMTF Academic Alliance Workshop on Systems and Virtualization Management: Standards and the Cloud (SVM)’. Also, complete the paper title, author fields and sign the form. Scan the signed copyright form and save as PDF.
- Put your PDFeXpress compliant paper and the signed copyright form in a zip file, and name the file with the last name of the first author following by a dash and the SVM identifier tag (for example, Danciu-SVM2010.zip). Upload your zipped file at http://svm2010finalsubmission.pbworks.com/ (if you do not have an account, please contact Deep Medhi at [email protected])
- At least one author of the paper must register for the workshop. Registration information will be available soon, check the Web site for updates.

Due to IEEE technical co-sponsorship of DRCN, your final paper will be included in IEEE eXplore for archival value after the conference; however, IEEE reserves the right that if an acceptance paper is not presented at the conference, then it may be excluded from inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

- Maximum text width, 7.125 inch or 181mm
- Maximum text height, 9.625 inch or 245mm
