Author Instructions for SVM 2011

To present your paper and to consider its inclusion in the Proceedings of the SVM 2010, you are required to

• Address the reviewers' comments, and create your final manuscript.
• Page length is limited to 8 pages in the IEEE double-column format using IEEE Conference Proceeding templates. For IEEEtran class in LaTeX, use the following as the first line in your LaTeX source file:
  • \documentclass[10pt, conference]{IEEEtran}
  • (Note: with IEEE conferences, the author affiliation is listed under the author's name, unlike IEEE transactions)
• Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website.
  • Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID: cnsm11x; use 'new user' if you haven't used this site before.).
  • Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (e.g., for LaTeX users, create a zip file that includes dvi and your eps figure files all together, and then upload the zip file for the system to convert into a compliant PDF file; for MSWord users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file)
• All authors must also complete and submit the IEEE copyright form. Download the IEEE Copyright Form (.doc, .pdf); complete IEEE Publication Title as ‘2011 5th International DMTF Academic Alliance Workshop on Systems and Virtualization Management: Standards and the Cloud (SVM)’. Also, complete the paper title, author fields and sign the form. Scan the signed copyright form and save as PDF.
• Put your PDFeXpress compliant paper and the signed copyright form in a zip file, and name the file with the last name of the first author following by a dash and the SVM identifier tag (for example, Danciu-SVM2011.zip). Upload your zipped file at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=svm11
• At least one author of the paper must register for the workshop.
